Join Our School Family

Located on the southeast corner of 9th Avenue and Dahlia Street, University Children's Center is convenient to the Hilltop, Cherry Creek, Crestmoor and Park Hill neighborhoods in Denver. We also serve Rose Medical Center and National Jewish Hospital. The Anschutz Medical Center is a short ride to the east of us. In a quiet location, we have airy classrooms with lots of natural light. The children have easy access to play yards and vegetable and flower gardens. We operate year-round, Monday through Friday.

We're so glad you found us, and we hope you are interested in knowing more about us and sharing your childcare needs.
We hope you'll join our School Family of parents, children, and staff!

INITIAL INQUIRY and PHONE MEETING
We invite you to complete the "Contact Us" form, and our Director will reach out to you. At a time convenient for you, a phone meeting will be an opportunity to tell us about your needs and what you value in an early childhood program. We encourage you to ask as many questions as you like! We'll provide you with specific information about our curriculum, tuition, and hours of operation. The next step is for us to meet in person.

IN-PERSON VISIT

We ask that you make an appointment for your pre-enrollment visit. We want to be sure that we are completely available and our time with you is uninterrupted. All visitors must go through a security protocol requiring identification. Please be sure to bring a photo ID.

We look forward to meeting your family, introducing you to our team, and showing you our programs in action!

ADMISSION and ENROLLMENT
When you decide University Children's Center is the right choice for your child's early care and education, we begin the enrollment process. We'll help you sort through the required paperwork and give you documents to be completed by your child's pediatrician or health practitioner. You'll receive our informative Parent Handbook outlining all policies and procedures.

Our Partnership

On your child's first day of school, we begin our partnership! You become part of our School Family!

We know it is exciting and a little bit scary. The first few weeks may be challenging. You will have a direct line of communication with your child’s teacher through our ProCare Connect™ app on your phone. Your teacher will keep you informed throughout the day, and you may message your teacher with any questions.

Soon you'll settle into a routine, and we'll continue to share daily insights and activity plans, hold parent-teacher conferences, offer opportunities for parent education and involvement and foster our sense of community.

It is our sincere wish to work in partnership with you as your child learns, grows, and thrives!
